Yelp is an IPhone app which can help you find places to eat, have a coffee, find a drug store or more near to your location. The app is GPS enabled to help find suitable businesses.
Once you’ve got your list of businesses near you, you can then filter them down by price, location, distance and whether they are actually open at that particular time.
This is a free app which can be downloaded from the Apple applications store
Where is an application that delivers information about what is the surrounding area, where is the nearest restaraunt for example, if you need to find a coffee house where is the nearest one or alternatively you need to find a petrol station as you are running low of fuel.
The application is free and can be downloaded from Apple’s app store. Looks like one to check out.

Touch Mail is a webmail system tuned for the Iphone/Ipod Touch. With Touch Mail you can use any email service like Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, AOL that provides the POP protocol access.
Written in PHP5 and it does not require any database support.
This is an open source application which can be downloaded from sourceforge but looks like a fantastic idea if like myself you have email accounts with many online providers.
