Join the resistance and play as John Conner and Marcus Wright in the post-apocalyptic battle for survival. With Kyle Reese and other freedom fighters, you take on Skynet in this 3D third-person shooter. With six weapon types at your disposal, like the shotgun, surge cannon, and grenade launcher, players can combat hordes and possibly make it out alive. Personal Database from FileMaker has launched a new application called the Bento for iPhone. Designed specifically for the iPhone, the application allows users to easily organize all the details of their busy life in a single easy-to-use application.
The Bento app for iPhone offers 25 templates for keeping track of things like expenses, home inventory, events, recipes, time billings, vehicle maintenance, and exercise log. In addition to this, it includes digital media for keeping track of music and videos. This application integrates an Apple “Cover Flow” like interface which allows users to page through their databases which can be further sub-divided into “collections” as one would do it on the desktop app. ***Read More***
According to an analyst, AT&T (NYSE: T) may drop the price of iPhone contracts from $69 per month to $59. Why? To help make the device “more affordable.”
Now that just one month stands between us and Apple’s WorldWide Developer Conference, iPhone mania is about to ramp up all over again. Reports and rumors have been gathering momentum for months now, and it’s all going to come to a head in the next 30 or so days.
Adding to the pile of pre-WWDC news mongering, analyst Michael Cote said that is a “strong possibility” that AT&T will drop the cost of its voice and data plans for the iPhone in conjunction with whatever is announced at WWDC. *** Read More ***

Earlier this week it was Myst. Now another PC classic (hell, Apple II classic) has made its way to the iPhone. Lemonade Tycoon is Electronic Arts’ adaptation of the seminal Lemonade Stand, a business and economics lesson shrouded in an addictive turn-based strategy game.
Indeed, what looks like (and is) a cute little kids game about running a lemonade stand is actually a clever course in sales, marketing, and management. The goal: Build your neighborhood juice biz into a Starbucks-like lemonade empire. (“Lemonade-bucks”? Nah. Hopefully Marketing can come up with something snappier.)

To turn your lemons into yellow gold, you’ll need to tweak the recipe, buy enough (but not too many) supplies, decide whether to spend money on advertising, choose a location, add staff if necessary, buy upgrades when prudent, and so on.
In other words, it’s like running a business. Once you’ve made all your decisions for the day, you get to see your stand in real-time action. (This is cute at first, but eventually you’ll just want to skip ahead to the results, which you can do with a single tap.) *** Read More ***
