iPhone Firmware 4.0 is already jailbreaked

MuscleNerd, the Dev Team did not take long to test the tools they keep in reserve for future firmware release 4.0. In the video below, it shows an iPhone with firmware 4.0, identifiable with the application to connect to VNC, which the jailbreak has been done.

The ad is promising, especially since this jailbreak seems to have been made without great difficulty. It actually states have been content to exploit a vulnerability already present in firmware 3.1.3, which helps to overcome the protections put in place by Apple.

It remains to know when and how will these tools available to jailbreak. Until the release of 4.0, many iPhone users would like to operate properly because the jailbreak their device 3.1.3 …

Firmware 4 for iPhone : Is it coming soon ?

There is still no information on a possible firmware 4 for the iPhone, it is probably the shadow of Firmware 3.2, currently in
finalization to equip the iPad (what about the iPhone). Nevertheless released today is a rumor or indiscretion
reported by AppleInsider site that the firmware 4 bring multi task for third party applications (recall that the native Apple applications are used for some multi task already: iPod phone for example).

Voice Recognition Included in iPhone OS 3.0

Another hidden feature has been discovered in the latest beta of iPhone OS 3.0, this time in the form of voice recognition and voice synthesis. The software is nicknamed Jabbler and will be built into the SpringBoard application, the software that controls the home screen, launches other applications, and will be the basis of the new Spotlight search feature. iPhone v2.0 firmware features

Today, at the WWDC 2008, Steve Jobs announced the list of features that we’ll be getting with iPhone v2.0 firmware. iPhone v2.0 software will come preloaded for 3G iPhone users, while iPhone v1.0 and iPod Touch users will get the new firmware sometime early next month.

New v2.0 software will feature additions for enterprise users, as well as additions to the SDK, and new features for regular users.

According to Steve Jobs, the enterprise features include: Microsoft Exchange support, push email, calendars, contacts, auto-discovery, global address lookup, remote wipe, and Cisco VPN services (so now we know what was the “interoperability” agreement between Cisco and Apple). More—>
