Hello all, I have a small problem while trying to manually upgrade my iPod.
I got my iPod touch 4g last christmas, and jailbroke it that very day. It was on iOS 4.1, haven’t updated it since. All this talk about iOS 5 made me wonder, “how far can I update while still being able to jailbreak?” So I downloaded firmware 4.3.3. I took all the proper precautions, backed it up, backed up my Cydia apps with PkgBackup, and then tried to upgrade my iPod to iOS 4.3.3. iTunes gave me the error 3194. How can I fix this? I’ve tried manually upgrading it to iOS 4.2.1, same error. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Tl;dr can’t manually update jailbroken iPod 4g to any firmware. Wat do?

Do you have TinyUmbrella installed? If not download and install. Then run and click the advanced tab down below and Uncheck where it says “Set Hosts to Cydia on Exit”. Reboot your computer and this should fix your problem.
