Firmware 4 for iPhone : Is it coming soon ?
There is still no information on a possible firmware 4 for the iPhone, it is probably the shadow of Firmware 3.2, currently in
finalization to equip the iPad (what about the iPhone). Nevertheless released today is a rumor or indiscretion
reported by AppleInsider site that the firmware 4 bring multi task for third party applications (recall that the native Apple applications are used for some multi task already: iPod phone for example).
In this Article TechCrunch points out rightly that the years earlier, the new firmware had been proposed in beta power in March.
This year, for the moment, no scheduled event, and even rumors Firmware 4 which would be far from finalized.
In short, we do not know much, but it is not surprising that the arrival of the iPad has altered the tempo of outputs
IPhone Firmware.
So when should we see a Firmware 4?
The most logical response would be several months before a new iPhone (June / July), but if the beta SDK and are not
available in March, this leaves little time for developers take ownership. So perhaps a release of a new iPhone in 3.2
this summer, and Firmware 4 later this year?
In short, we know nothing, but that does not mean we can’t talk about it.
