@Vestanine hey are you making sure to start the tss server within tiny umbrella before itunes is open? Make sure you do so. u might also want to check your hosts files if you are not familiar with this a simple google search will help.
my iphone 3gs is on 4.3.5 now but i have the SHSH files for 4.1 and when using this it will still not let me downgrade saying that my device is not compatible what do i do?????????

ok i got a question well i was trying to unlock my phone using gevey sim card but didnt work so they told me that i needed to restore my phone to factory settings so i was trying to do and i have been tryng to do. first i downlloaded tinyumbrella and well conected the iphone to the host whatever then i placed my iphone on DFU mode so i could restore it using shift restore on itunes but i got error 1016 ok well i reseached and was able to fix that now when i try to restore and it gets stuck :O
@NerdSupport so,i delete 74.bla.bla.bla:gs.apple.com from hosts file,then i save it.when i restore with TSS server(tiny umbrella)its stuck in recovery mode,i cant quit ecovery mode,to quit the recovery mode,i must Jaibreak my iphone with greenp0ison and quit it.i’m tryiing to restore a JAILBROKEN iphone becauze i want upgrade it.thats my problem.thanks for help
@votballer hey whats the problem exactly?? if you give me some more detail on what exactly is going on and what you want to do i will be able to help you. Also try to watch our fix itunes error for 4.2.1 because it works on all firmwares.
nothing works to restore my iphone 4!! i deleted gs apple from host files,i did try tinyumbrella it but i got 1013 error always,and then its stuck in recovery mode!then i need to re-jailbreak to get out of recovery,so i cant upgrade my iphone 4.can someone help me please?thanks

saving SHSH… does it save a backup of al info on your phone? such as personal settings and contacts etc??
