I was searching the web and for iPhone cons, since I might get one Friday, and saw this:

To do this you’d need to “jailbreak” the iPhone using a utility such as ZiPhone. This modifies the firmware to allow you to run third party apps. Apple is working on their own solution to debut in June, so if you are concerned about warranty you might want to hold off. Also, an updated iPhone is expected in June, which may include 3G and GPS functionality. Probably worth waiting for.
