When we first had the war between Betamax and VHS, it was the porn business that backed VHS and helped it win that war years ago. Now that Steve Jobs has delivered the 3G iPhone and with the promise of much faster data speeds, Apple is surely to sell many more iPhones and they will not be the only one making money from the 3G iPhone.
The porn sites will want their share of money from the iPhone and more specifically the 3G versions thanks to better video playback over the 3G networks. In 2007 we heard about iPlayboy and how Hugh Hefner wanted to cash in on the Apple iPhone success with some software that was downloadable from Playboy.com and included a Playboy Cyber Girl video, Playmate photos, wallpapers and other stuff customized for the Apple iPhone.
Now in 2008 with the 3G iPhone coming to 22 countries on July 11, the current trend is showing a sharp increase this year for iPhone porn and the mobile porn businesses know this and are aiming to fill that need.
